Legume Production

We started our legume production activities in 2025 with pilot cultivation on a small area. Key legume products such as dry beans, chickpeas, and borlotti beans are produced, following a sustainable farming approach that protects soil fertility and conserves water resources.

This first year has been both a learning experience and a process of rediscovering the potential of the land. Based on the positive results achieved, we plan to expand both the production area and volume in 2026. Our aim is to strengthen the production of high-quality and reliable legumes that contribute to regional needs, while extending women’s labor to wider agricultural areas.

Our Legume Products

Native Seed Dry Beans

The beans produced by our cooperative are grown using local, native seeds. Thanks to these seeds, which are well adapted to the region’s climate and soil conditions, we achieve products with both high yield and excellent taste. Our production is based on protecting the soil and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Native Seed Borlotti Beans

In our borlotti bean production, local seeds are also preferred, allowing us to obtain high-quality and marketable products through region-specific knowledge. By using native seeds, we both preserve agricultural biodiversity and ensure the continuity of production for future generations.

Native Seed Chickpeas

Our chickpea production is carried out using native seeds in the fertile soils of the Suğla Plain. The natural fertility of the Suğla Plain directly contributes to the quality and flavor of the chickpeas. Thanks to its drought-tolerant characteristics, chickpeas are one of the key products of our water-conscious and sustainable production approach.
