Drying Workshop

Established in 2022 under the Social Development Support Program, our Fruit Drying Workshop is one of the most tangible reflections of Seydikoop’s vision to create added value in production. Fruits harvested in season—some of which are directly produced by our women members—are processed in hygienic drying machines at our workshop and transformed into healthy, safe products with an extended shelf life.

Through this workshop, we do more than dry fruit; we reduce product losses, convert seasonal production into economic value, and provide women with opportunities for regular income. From strawberries to persimmons, and from apples to rosehips, each product undergoes a controlled production process, is packaged accordingly, and delivered to consumers through local markets and e-commerce channels.

Domestic Production

Our cooperative adopts the strengthening of local production and the provision of sustainable contributions to the regional economy as a core priority. Our agricultural activities are carried out based on the planned production of crops suited to the region’s climatic and soil conditions, with a strong focus on quality, traceability, and efficiency.

Through this approach, producers’ labor is safeguarded while reliable, standards-compliant products are delivered to consumers.

Fruit production carried out within the cooperative is implemented by our members under a contract farming model. Throughout the production process—from planting to harvest—all stages are planned under the coordination of the cooperative, with product types, quantities, and quality criteria determined in advance. This system provides purchase guarantees for producers while enabling the cooperative to secure a regular and sustainable supply of raw materials. This locally based production structure supports small-scale producers, strengthens women’s labor, and ensures that agricultural income remains within the region.

Women’s Labor

At the core of the production activities carried out within our cooperative lies women’s labor. From agricultural production to processing and packaging, women members take an active role at every stage, contributing directly to production through their knowledge and experience. This approach strengthens women’s participation in economic life while ensuring continuity and quality in production.

With this structure that makes women’s labor visible and preserves its value, our cooperative aims to contribute to social development. This model, in which women are empowered through production, represents not only an economic activity but also a strong production approach that supports solidarity, local development, and social equality.
