The project titled “The Future of Soil: Climate-Resilient Agricultural Production,” submitted by our cooperative with Seydişehir Municipality as a project partner, has been awarded grant support under the R&D, Innovation, and Green Skills Development Accelerator Grant Program in the Agriculture and Food Sector (SoGreen) implemented by the Mevlana Development Agency.
The project aims to increase adaptive capacity against the negative impacts of climate change on agricultural production and to promote sustainable production models.
Within the scope of the project, various activities will be implemented, including the procurement of modern technologies to improve efficiency in agricultural irrigation, capacity-building initiatives to enhance producers’ knowledge and skills, and the localization and dissemination of drought-resistant forage crop seeds. Through these efforts, the project seeks to ensure more efficient use of water resources and to strengthen climate-friendly practices in agricultural production.
